Friends of Des Moines Marina Steps is a grassroots, community-led initiative forming ahead of the opening of the Marina Steps in 2026. We are bringing together passionate, civic-minded individuals and local businesses who believe in stewardship, collaboration, and the power of community to activate and care for shared public spaces.

Early Access & Priority Registration for Friends-sponsored events, programs, and volunteer opportunities
Invitations to Members-Only Gatherings, appreciation events, and previews hosted by Friends of Des Moines Marina Steps
Discounted Admission to select ticketed Friends-sponsored events, when applicable
Founding Member Recognition on the Friends website, in select communications, and at Friends-sponsored events

$1,000 annually, or
$83 per month (automatic monthly billing)
